Danish Brotherhood in America
The seeds of the Danish Brotherhood in America were planted in the 1870s when thousands of people were leaving their native Denmark to find greater opportunities in the United States and Canada. The immigrants came with a love for the traditions and culture of their native land and a hope and a dream for the opportunities they could find in their new home.
The Danish Club in Houston
The purpose of The Danish Club is to create a forum for Danes and others interested in Danish issues in the Houston area, primarily through informal events and get-togethers, social as well as cultural.. The Club currently counts about 200 members who meet at various events throughout the season which stretches from August to June.

Dansk Vestindisk Selskab
Valdemarsdag 1917 samledes en gruppe af de hjemvendte danske embedsmænd og gendarmer for første gang i Danmark, primært for at fejre Dannebrogs fødselsdag. Vi elsker alle vort smukke flag, men for disse danske fra Vestindien havde Dannebrog en ganske særlig betydning. De havde hejst det hver morgen på de danske forter, på kasernerne og på statens bygninger for at vise den danske stats herredømme over disse eksotiske, fremmedartede, tropiske strande. Det var derfor naturligt for de hjemvendte vestindere at vælge Valdemarsdagen for deres første sammenkomst i Danmark, og man vedtog ved denne lejlighed at stifte en forening for alle danske med tilknytning til de gamle kolonier. Foreningen fik navnet Dansk Vestindien.

The Danish American Chamber of Commerce in New York (DACC) is a New York Not for Profit Corporation, independant of any other non-profit, commercial or governmental organizations. The DACC was formed 25 years ago through the merger of the Danish American Trade Council (Established 1964) and the Danish Luncheon Club (established 1931). The DACC exists to further the business interests of its members, and to help promote business relations between Denmark and the United States.

DISP
DISP er en forening af danskere, som bor og arbejder i Silicon Valley. I begyndelsen var foreningen præget af folk med en teknisk baggrund, men der er siden kommet både grafiske designere, marketingfolk, finansfolk, humanister og mange andre til. DISPs primære mål er at skabe et forum, hvor vore medlemmer kan mødes og udveksle erfaringer og informationer. Vi har efterhånden fået skabt et meget bredt netværk, som er til stor hjælp for nyankomne såvel som de, der har boet i San Francisco-området i mange år. Over 250 mennesker er nu medlem af DISP og medlemsskaren vokser støt.

Todays Danish Sisterhood has members active in 56 lodges throughout the United States and Canada.
